Roy Sanders
May 10, 1929-April 3, 2016
Born May 1929, in McSherrystown, PA, Roy graduated from Delone Catholic and ventured into a number of trades until he settled into the plumbing and heating industry as an estimator. In 1973 Roy opened R.E. Sanders Inc., and actively worked in the business for 43 years.
Tom Sanders
President/Owner
Tom started as a helper in the business in 1974 with his older brother and father. After several years of work, and night school, he became a master plumber.
He is the current President and Owner of RE Sanders Inc. Some of his hobbies include horseback riding and motorcycle riding.
Dan Sanders
Vice President
Dan resides in York where he was born and raised. After graduating from Eastern York High School, Dan became the third generation of Sanders to join the family business. He received an EPA certification for refrigeration from York County School of Technology. Dan then attended plumbing school where he received his master plumber license. Soccer, hunting, and four wheeling are some of the activities Dan enjoys outside of work.
Patti Freer
Accounting
Patti moved to York from Connecticut in 1999. She is married and has two daughters. Patti has been in the accounting field for 30 years and is our bookkeeper. She graduated from the University of Bridgeport with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. Patti enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
Brad Overmiller, Jr
HVAC And Plumbing Technician
Brad resides in York with his wife, children, and grandson. He has worked in the plumbing and hvac industries for 20+ years. Brad is EPA and 410A certified. A graduate of William Penn Senior High School, Brad also served in the U.S. Navy. Basketball and spending time with his family are a couple of Brad’s favorite things to do in his spare time.

Some History About Us And
Our Family
As I carry on the business that my Dad has created, I know we will be successful, but our success will be to honor our Dad, the man who forever changed my perception of unconditional love.
In 1973, with just one pickup truck, Roy Sanders started Sanders Plumbing and Heating. Roy worked from his home with his eldest son Ed. In 1974, Roy’s son Tom graduated from high school and took up the trade with his father and brother.
The business outgrew their home, so Roy purchased a building in North York, a former early 1900’s cigar factory, and, with much loving care, this building became the home of R.E. Sanders Inc, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical.
Roy actively worked in the business for 43 years. Roy’s hard work and dedication was instilled into his family of 1 daughter, 6 sons, 18 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. It is with his beloved wife, Dolores, that they created this beautiful family together.
